For those who cannot afford this table; Simply lie on a bed (preferably a flat firm surface with out a pillow under your head (a soft 1 inch thick head rest is good) and your feet elevated with a pillow, etc. and relax and doze away.    Warning !!! If creating a home brew flat table (without your head on a pillow) on a 25-35  degree tilt, always have another Adult to allow a safe way  to unbuckle 2nd hand ski boots or create a safe  way to safely tilt the table back to a level plane by the user !!! A person may be very tired and easily use this table.

    We only recommend starting with a 25 degree angle and after many sessions a maximum of 35 degrees angle, and that is far from an inverted 90 degrees !

    Purchase a inexpensive paper or plastic protractor and adjust the strap so you do not exceed these maximum angles !!!

     We all experience the fear of something different and it may require three or more sessions with a friend maintaining the angle, before we can relax properly !

Face the lower end somewhat north for the northern hemisphere, and somewhat south for the southern hemisphere.

     Once we tilt our feet higher than our head our goal is to completely relax so we may slowly slide down the table. To slide well have loose clothing on our buttock and back. For example, tighten both thigh areas then relax the muscles and feel yourself slide down a little more. Then buttocks, lower legs, back, chest, feet etc. and slowly slide down. Wiggle carefully side to side a small amount to slide downward more. Monitor your blood pressure in your temples or electronically or have a friend closely watch the color of your face to determine how long we tilt. Many of us begin with poor circulation (high blood pressure) and must be very careful how much we tilt. My mother who is 96 started with only about a 15-20  angle for only two minutes. Take it easy and have someone else watch you and set the strap to limit your maximum tilt angle and duration.  Be extremely careful when moving from tilt to level. The sudden drop in blood pressure in our head can result in dizziness/blackout. Do not be a tough person and come up quickly. Return to level slowly and remain level for some time before tilting again or slowly moving to the standing up position. When you get off hang onto something sturdy nearby like a chair and wait a few minutes before walking.

I added six  3/4 to 1 inch hose clamps to keep the ankle cuffs in place better, for a lot of neighbors are using it.
